After leaving Washington, we headed back and forth across the Snake River several times.
The drive through Oregon and Idaho was absolutely amazing. The drive was slow and winding but was nonetheless very enjoying.
As we where headed a 3rd of the way to Creekside we stopped 70 miles short of our destination. It’s a good thing otherwise we would have been backtracking 70 miles for our the next 3rd drive. We had just entered the Walla-Whitman National forest when the winding roads were getting rough and Teresa needed a break from the winding roads with shear cliffs.
To our amazement where we stopped was a great place to camp and saved us two hours driving each way.

After a goods night rest we headed down the road again this time to Antelope Reservoir. When we arrived, to our pleasant surprise we were greeted with all empty camp sites.
Once again we have arrived ahead of anyone else (5pm) and had the pick of the best spots. If there is a word for beauty, seclusion, and wildlife all wrapped in one, I would use it here.

Now it’s on to our prime location for our west coast swing through the USA. On to Creekside and time to start preparing for our two weeks camping trip at Stampede Reservoir with family and friends.
Creekside is a known spot for us to camp and is always full of stories and good memories. Yes Creekside is my brother and sister-in-law property in Nevada.
Teresa perfectly backed our RV into its parking spot and we were greeted with smiles and love.
I can’t hardly wait to tell our story from the next two weeks, as spending time with family and friends always yields the best stories.
